Biography

Narayan Yoganandan, PhD, is professor and chair of Biomedical Engineering in the Department of Neurosurgery and Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Marquette University. He has published over 220 peer-reviewed archival journal papers, 40 book chapters, 250 abstracts and conference proceedings, and 100 presentations. He is the senior editor of two books, entitled Frontiers in Head and Neck Trauma: Clinical and Biomechanical (1988, 743 pages) and Frontiers in Whiplash Trauma: Clinical and Biomechanical (2000; 589 pages).

He has served on editorial boards and study sections for federal government grants and private organizations. In addition to receiving numerous awards, he is a Fellow of the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine and the Society of Automotive Engineers.
