Amber Retzlaff, MD

Amber was born and raised on a farm in rural Minnesota. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Financial Economics at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. She initially worked in banking and health insurance before choosing to enter the medical field. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota.

She is interested in all aspects of neurosurgery with particular emphasis on neuro-oncology and functional neurosurgery.

In her free time, Amber enjoys walking with her black lab “Daisy”, playing the piano, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
